In case you forgot, we have a 101 win team staring us in the face who hasn't been to the playoffs in a long time. These boys will want to make some noise. I hope they're too young and fresh faced for the moment. They don't seem to have a lot of playoff experience on their collective roster.

After taking a few days to think about things, I'd prefer a rangers vs Twinkies ALCS. It would guarantee that the fans on the other board won't have much trash to talk for the next year or so and I want another shot at the Twins. We faced them when we were at our low point and they took full advantage.

I think we can do better and quite possibly beat them if we see them.

If you are going to the game, stop by one of the bars on Northgate or a tailgate. But you'll likely have to watch the end of the baseball game on your phone (or live stats) if you are going to the Aggie game.

John Means not in the Orioles roster is huge. He would've likely been one of three starters we would've seen. Their pitching can be had imo.

I hope leaving Max off the roster was his call, as there are some real spares in that bullpen.

The only thing I can think of is Bochy was sick and tired of low stinking it up at the #3 hole. He's going with grossman who can usually be counted on for a good / competitive at bat. He's not going to go up there and hack away at ****ty pitches the whole AB like Duran did for the entire second half of the season.

This isn't a bad theory at all but still, if it's about good AB's and you're going to move Carter up to 5. I don't know why you don't go ahead and move him up to 3.

Negative. I usually listen through the MLB AT BAT app or Audacy, which is an online radio streaming app. Todays game will be aired on 105.3 the fan if you listen on the Audacy app.

Yeah, I don't love the 5 spot for Carter. Usually that's still a power hitter spot behind the clean up guy.

The dude routinely has 6+ pitch AB's and he was a big reason we were able to get Eflin and Glasnow out of the games early.

The O's are predominately RH pitching. They have a couple LH RPs, but very limited.

Surprised, but love moving Carter up. Carter surprises me every day.

And we get the speedy Carter in LF... big day for him.

My cable service shows the game will be broadcast in 4K.

This is unfortunate but I'm not too surprised. I won't be able to watch until about 1 anyway. Gonna find a sports bar so I can watch not games.

ETA: just looked at weather app and rain in Baltimore is expected to stop in 20 minutes. Shouldn't be delayed too long.

One of the things Hicks said Bochy likes about Grossman in the #3 is that he grinds out pitches. Semien and Seager are 1st Pitch swinging. Lowe isn't much better.

I looked up G1 in Tampa and Grossman took 24 PC in 5 ABs.
