I'd take some situational hitting at this point though. So many runners left on base, and it seems like anytime a ball is hit hard it lands in this worst place.

The radio broadcast (Hicks) indicated Bochy's justification for Grossman in the 3 spot is that in his L7, he has 10BBs and over .400 in OBP.

With Runners at 2nd & 3rd and Seager up to bat, you walk just about anyone.
