Hey Grape... I'm an Austin area guy so our common ground starts and ends with the Cowboys. My baseball loyalties have always been with the Stros.

But I wish yall the best. Screw the Mariners. I hope both TX teams get in.

Hey Grape... I'm an Austin area guy so our common ground starts and ends with the Cowboys. My baseball loyalties have always been with the Stros.

But I wish yall the best. Screw the Mariners. I hope both TX teams get in.
Yeah…… when the road trip started. I wanted the division pretty badly. After losing the first 2 in Seattle, I'll settle for just making it.

We're not winning any trophies with a hurt Degrom, hurt Scherzer, gimped Eovaldi, and probably gimped Grey. Just get the boys some playoff experience and come back next year with our pitching staff in better shape and a better bullpen.

Man I don't think Eovaldi is gimped as much as he just completely falls apart at any hint of adversity / trouble with a batter

His "numbers" out there are pretty good tbh, but he has the occasional head scratching/dumbass mistakes that will lose you a game. Last night wasn't on him per se, but he hit the accelerator on it.

His range factor and the like may be good, but I'm just going on eye test - rarely does he seem fluid to the ball, lots of routine fly balls that he catches but it's a bit of an adventure.

Is what it is though... Stuff like that I can live with. Bad plays are gonna happen.

IMO Bochy was handed a 90 win roster. Lets see if he gets there.

He's been taken out early several times the last couple of weeks, so yes I think that is a major factor. Maybe they'll finally give in today if he's rolling, but I wouldn't be surprised if they yank him early
