Crap. I got home from football and the game on just in time to see it go from 4-0 to 8-0. Turned it right back off. It's going to suck if they fail despite controlling their own destiny.

This has been a very fun season. I don't want it to end, and I'm not throwing in the towel, but I'm not optimistic at this point.

What are the scenarios now?

Could somebody please explain the pitching situation for our last two games. ESPN says undecided for Saturday and Sunday is Gray, but he just went on the IL for forearm tightness. Do we really not have a pitcher to start either of these critical games to end the regular season? Are we going to rely on long relief from this craptastic bullpen? Who do we have left?

Paraphrased - are we really as screwed with our pitching as I think we are?

I mean, take your pick. Could be bullpen games, could be Perez or Heaney if they can go.

Scherzer is hurt, Gray is hurt, Montgomery pitched last night and Eovaldi pitched tonight.

Maybe Dunning can go on 3.5 days rest on Sunday, but not sure that will go well.

Bochy got cute last night and it may very well cost us the playoffs.

Looks like it's Heaney tomorrow.
