My dad is starting to wake up! Been officially asleep 19 days in a row due to an extreme reaction to large consistent doses of Librium to calm him with his TBI/alcohol withdrawal fears.
In that time he survived pneumonia, which has nearly killed him twice (2010/2022).
He is still in ICU and cannot communicate. Doctors saying he won't be able to talk for a few days/week due to all the tubes recently removed from his throat. He's already on physical therapy and working on basic actions.
I'll be at the game with my wife and 2 year old daughter tomorrow! Looking for an evening to take a break…

It's 4D chess from Bochy. We need Chapman in the playoffs. Get him reps, hope he gets better, gets the feel for high leverage pitching even if he creates his own situation.
Are the Twins too far back to steal the #2 seed? Quick math tells me they'd need the West to essentially all finish tied at 72 losses and win a tiebreaker, so any loss would rule that out.

With 8Ws they'd be at 90-72
Minn would have to go 6-2 just to consider.
Texas and Sea splits their 6 and you are looking at 88 and 87 Ws
Mathematically possible and they have the schedule for it, but that's a lot of Ws.
Huge win tonight and even bigger loss by Houston. Looking at the pitching matchups for both our series and the Hou-KC series makes it hard to imagine Us winning both games with Seattle or Houston losing again to the Royals. I'm just hoping we can split these two over the rest of the weekend and head out West to play LAA while the other two beat each other up.

That's exactly what we do. He replaced Brad Miller on the 40-man, Brad Miller is on the IL 60, he's been on the IL 60 for more than 60 days. Should be straightforward.
I thought they moved him to the 60IL right about that time.. Likely retro-activr?!
