The whole team and the coaching staff must have gotten wasted from all the champagne they drank on the 1 hour flight from Toronto to Cleveland while celebrating the sweep.

NOBODY showed up to play tonight. This was a massive smelly turd all the way around. The guardians have a terrible offense and they put up 12 runs? Offense strikes out 10 times vs giolito?

Wasted opportunity. Please get it together and win the next 2. This guardians team is going nowhere. Shouldn't lose to them.

Kinda sucks the team pooped the bed last night, bc they could've taken back the lead in the west and gained another game on Seattle. Seattle has definitely cooled down, and the rangers have 7 of their last 10 against them. So, that final stretch will probably decide the playoffs for the rangers. It's alright though, get back on the horse tonight and get back to winning.

It's wild that the Astros can only seem to beat the rangers, and do it in historical fashion.

Played a game in Toronto at night, immediately have to rush to airport after game and get entire team through customs, fly to Cleveland and land early in the morning, and then expected to play a game that night. I was hoping to win, but the MLB did the rangers dirty with that travel schedule especially with it being this late in the season. Thankfully the Mariners have settled down and the Astros can't seem to beat anyone below 500

Not MLB's fault - it's on the Blue Jays. They decide if the last game of the series is a day game. Blue Jays and Angels don't play day getaway games.

If I remember correctly, we did this often playing at the old ballpark. It just didn't make sense to play in the heat of the day rather than when it was cooler at night. Many teams hated that.

I don't know why Toronto and LAAA don't do it. Maybe it has to do with attendance.

I believe it does. I think both have all games (except Sundays) at night as part of their local TV contracts. Of course, the rest of the league reciprocates and forces them to play at night when visiting, so their team never gets a day getaway game all season.

There are also some MLB rules about game start times when the visitors face a flight of greater than 2.5 hours. That doesn't help flying Toronto to Cleveland.
