Assuming Carter and Langford both eventually make it and stick, that's two OF. So one of Garcia and Taveras will have to go. Not sure how many years of team control Taveras and Garcia have, but that factors i to the equation as well (and gives more value, the more they have left).

My thoughts exactly, and Taveras is 24 vs Adolis/30. That has to be a consideration as well.

As mentioned by an earlier poster, now we have to cut someone off the 40 too, for a 10 day call up (supposedly) you wouldn't think this would be the move.
My whole point which seems to keep getting lost, is that if you make a long term move like bringing up your top prospect, you do it because you're going to keep him in the lineup and play him. He can't be a star for us if he can't hit lefties, and right now he can't hit lefties, so we have to get him at bats against them to see if he can continue to develop.
If he was the best option for 10 days, if Ornelas (IF) and Harris aren't the guys, then you need someone who provides you the best option. Jung and Miller are you other options. Miller just started a rehab in AA.

Agreed. As long as Garver's bat stay hot. It's about time for Heim to start getting his **** together too. His bat is critical if we're to have any success to finish the season.
