I'm gonna give Travis the benefit of the doubt that he was slowing/stopping thinking 1B was going to try and tag him and then throw home.

Why would 1B do that? He'd be conceding the run if he waits to tag the runner

Unreal a guy that seems like a great story hanging on with the club this year has more times than not shown a fundamental failure to execute pretty basic stuff... bunting, baserunning, etc...

The play would be charge in at the runner and tag him and throw home for the tag at the plate. Certainly not an easy play, but typically an easier one then trying to go home and then get a speedy guy at first.
But of course that is only assuming the speedy guy going to first doesn't decide to play spectator.

The Mets are TERRIBLE. They tried to literally hand us every game in this series on a silver platter. Any halfway decent baseball team sweeps us in this series. This team is pathetic.

What's the record for occurrences of multiple blown saves? We've had 3 or 4 games in the past 2 weeks where we've blown the save twice or more in the same game. Worst bullpen ever

Well, usually, the season has been over in June or July, so it's different this year.
Rangers are now 11-18 in 1-run games and 2-7 in extra innings. They just don't know how to win these games yet.
We are who we are. Maybe there is a September call-up rookie who will surprise us in the bullpen.
Bochy has done an incredible job of getting us to this point. It's time for him to figure out how to fix this with dunning, Stratton, Owen white, I really don't care.
