There was 0 chance he wasn't swinging and Peralta threw exactly what you throw a guy you know is swinging.

That is why CYoung got guys like Semien and Seager. Matching them with guys like Eovaldi and WSmith. Add Scherzer.

But, you have half the team playing their 1st meaningful games in August.

Meh. Nobody hits a walk-off for SF. Heim and Jankowski miss winning a game by inches. Seeing eye worm killer gets up the middle last night and Seager hits one 410. Just a week with some bad breaks. Just need to string together more quality AB's.

We did it. It was a big family outing... about 8 of us and one person wanted one. We shared it.

Had a chance to blow this open in the 3rd and blew it. Only plating 1 run on a pitcher that throws 40 pitches in one inning is almost impossible. Now we have to get to their bullpen.

Tough situation.

Sborz (22PC), Stratton (27PC), and Anderson (18PC) all pitched last night. You've got righties coming in and the best option was to bring in Perez in the 6th inning, knowing you've potentially got 4.0 IP.

May not have been throwing in the towel, probably more trying to not lose tomorrow's game, today.
