I was there tonight and thought for sure Seager tied it in that last at bat. Anywhere else in the ballpark and it's gone.

I've said it before and I'll say it again-they remind me of the 96 Al West Championship Team that didn't have one comeback win in the 9th inning all season.

Radio crew said it would have been a HR in 18 parks.

Our pitching gave up 9 runs and 14 hits. Is that really the Milwaukee brewers out there? Did they switch jerseys with the Atlanta Braves on their way in?

Brewers offense isn't as good as the angels or some of the other teams we've played lately. The Brewers are a pitching team. No excuse for this pitiful performance by our pitching staff.

We can still take 2/3 with our best matchups coming up.

Heaney is the guy that gets moved if/when Eovaldi returns. I did not like what Wmily said last night about a timetable. She said he threw a bullpen and that they still need to evaluate him more. Nothing positive.

Yeah, we've gone from "pushing back a start" to "skipping a start to be precautionary" to "a few weeks out" to "no timetable".

Sounds like a drop in velocity.

I got really concerned when he pitched in the all-star game and was averaging 93-94. Eovaldi is a guy who's always been able to reach back and get 97-98+, so sitting 93 was a major red flag in my mind. I personally think he's done and am really concerned for his long-term outlook.

Seems like they're about to shut him down.

Heaney just needs to step the **** up for him and the team. I feel like with him it's mostly mental like with Perez.

Yeah, I don't think we would have gone out and snagged 2 legit starters at the deadline if we were confident in Eovaldi returning.

I think they know what it likely is but fixing that will shelve him for the season so might as well wait it out and just hope it gets better.

Astros are 2-6 against the Mariners. They seem to really have their number. If the Mariners hold the Astros down, it comes at a price tho. We could be letting them back into the AL west race. We need to get the next 2 with Milwaukee so that we would be guaranteed to gain ground on either Houston or Seattle each day.

According to Boch, he just didn't have command of his pitches. They weren't alarmed which is why they let him go a little longer.

Boch was asked about why they pulled him the game before earlier than this game. He said last game they knew something wasn't right. They asked about his reduced Velo. Boch said his Velo was still reaching what he does and that it was really more about command than Velo.

We'll see.

He is sitting at 118 IP and needs 150 to get his $7-8M vesting. 32 IP with maybe 8 GS left, in the regular season. If he gets moved to the BP, he likely doesn't reach.

With I believe it is more about mental focus and dealing with certain pressure. I don't get that with Heaney.

That's just dirty...

One other thing about Heaney... This is the 2nd most GS and 3rd most IP he has had. He may be out of gas.

32 and 10 years in MLB and his IP: 180, 129.2, 118, 105

While Perez has had his issues, it might be worth a shot to insert Perez for GS and skip Heaney. Maybe give him a RP appearance.

There's been no talk of it being a stamina issue.

Another bullpen simply means they are going to try again to see if whatever is causing him issues has subsided, because the likely alternative is a few months rest or surgery and they are hoping not to have to shelve him this year.

That's why there's not a timetable.
