I know seager and seiman are locked up for a while but what about the rest of the starters? Are most early in their career where they are gunna be with the team for a while? I honestly don't watch much of the rangers outside of when they play Houston so I'm pretty unfamiliar with the roster.

Another thing to complain about Raymond, he is so blah and passive in his comments and opinions.

When he's on the ticket doing an interview he is funny and engaging. Yet when he gets on the mic to call a game he is just terribly boring

We lose like Martin Perez, Odorizzi, Garver, Chapman, Smith (RP) and a few others.

Almost everyone come back.

Eovaldi, Heaney, Dunning, Scherzer, Gray... all come back.

That's what I thought. Should be a fun few years

In the lineup, literally everyone outside of Seager and Semien is controllable for multiple years on entry level or arbitration deals.

Regarding positional players:

1B - Nathaniel Lowe (solid solid 1B, won't blow you away with power but gets on base in bunches) is 28 and arbitration eligible this offseason

3B - Josh Jung (having great year, in line for RoY before breaking his thumb) is 25 and controllable the next 3 years

INF - Ezekiel Duran (breakout year but coming back to earth recently) is 24 and controllable the next 3 years

RF - Adolis Garcia (having a great year with crazy power and best OF arm in MLB imo) is 30 and a arb eligible until 2027

CF - Leody Taveras (having a solid year) is 24 and controllable the next year

LF - Jankowski/Grossman (decent years but not long term solution, this will be Evan Carter's position next year) are 33 and 34 respectively and are free agents this off-season.

C - Jonah Heim (having a great year before injury) is 28 and arbritation eligible the next 3 years.

Yeah, this matches up with what I posted. Basically, just about every position player not named Seager or Semien is controlled until 2027 with Tavares to 2028 and Duran and Jung 2029

LF is the only one that has been somewhat spare veterans, but Evan Carter (#6 in all of baseball) should be taking that OF spot by sometime next year. At which point he'll be 2030 or 2031.

I can't remember who it was but it was someone that played for the Tampa team in 2019 when they played Oakland in the wild card play in game. He was quoted that the coliseum that day, out of all of the environments he'd played in, was the loudest and most lively crowd he'd ever played in front of. I just saw his interview recently but I can't remember who it was.

Said it was a shame they're leaving because when it's bad, it's bad. And he gets it. But when it's good, it's an awesome environment.

Edit: I remember. It was Glasnow.

I still wonder if Billy Beane ever has any regrets. I guess he would have left at some point if he wanted. But to see it come to this. Dam Son.

It is kinda his fault, as he was the spearhead for selling off or kicking franchise players to the curb still in their primes. Thats a quick way to lose fans. Then throw the stadium, owner also being cheap, and being awful, here we are.

Am I crazy for thinking we should pull Scherzer/others when they are in a position like this?

I get the every game matters mentality and he is dealing - but when you have a guy who historically can run out of gas by playoff time, I would be inclined to take the 80 pitch outing and turn it over to the bullpen. Really don't want to be pushing our arms too much.
