That may cost him ROY and cost us that bonus draft pick if 4 to 6 is accurate.

Good news is we've had guys step up during some IL stints for starters all season. Duran and Smith both are good fielders. My guess is we see Duran most as his bat is better when he is playing the field

DeGrom, Eovaldi, Heim, Seager, Jung…. Yet this team just keeps on trucking. That's what good teams do. I fully expect Duran to step up and fill Jung's absence nicely.

Great thing is we should have everyone back (minus DeGrom obviously) in September for the final stretch of the season and into the playoffs.

SFG (WC1) just lost their #3 SP DeSclafani (18GS, 4.88 ERA). Likely for the season. That's their #3.

Dodgers respond by putting their 11th... 11th P on the IL. 9 on the 60.

Grove hasn't been spectacular (12GS, 6.61 ERA, 15G, 64.0 IP)), but has the 4th most IP for a Dodger. Their big add at the deadline was Lance Lynn.

Too good, and now they're a game under 500, 10.5 back in the division and 7 back in the WC. And to think Trout will run out there again next year happy as ever

Maybe he gets spot starts over at 3B. If hitting well, earns more time. He's had some ok seasons in minors. Looks like could be a 15HR 20SB player over a full season.
