I mentioned the big loser at the trade deadline, IMO, were the Dodgers.
Was a funny story that the Dodgers offered the Mets a good package for Scherzer, but the Mets loved Acuna so much that they took him and dealt with us. Perhaps we benefitted from his brother being so good and tearing the Mets up in the NL East.
Then Rodriguez from Detroit kicks the dodgers while they're down by using his 10 team no trade to stay in Detroit after the deal was struck to bring him to LA.
I don't feel bad for the Dodgers at all tho. I'm still pissed at how bad our take was from the yu Darvish trade. They sent us a bunch of terrible prospects and Calhoun who didn't develop and had the worst attitude a ball player could have.
Darvish pitched like a #2 for them in the regular season and they thought highly enough of him to start him 3 times in the World Series. It didn't work out, but still. We should've got more.
