He's got the stuff that just plays naturally. Especially with the season he had last year I'd be willing to bet he's just had an unlucky year.

I just know that we could throw together a better realistic package than they can and I'd love to see them freak out about it.

We for sure can beat an offer if we want to. Would like to have a guy like him for sure.

And if Houston swings big for a non-rental guy I think they would firmly supplant themselves in #30 territory for farm system rankings. Wouldn't be mad about that either.

Pretty sure Langford can't be traded. Even if he could, that would be colossally stupid to trade your most recent 1st round draft pick that plays at a major position of need and *should* be ready to contribute to the MLB club in 2024
