Not mention Rangers best pitcher is going tonight and Astros know they won't get that version of Scherzer in game 7. Rangers have nothing to lose and can play like it.

After Maldonado left, and prior to the clip you provided, Jeter said, "Of course you'd expect Maldonado to say that." And they all agreed.
I looked for the clip and it doesn't seem to have been published by Fox, and the fact knowing the implication they softened their position after the commercial break doesn't change the fact they all 3 agreed in sentiment that it was intentional doesn't change the fact they know it was intentional. They knew if it was determined to be intentional, it would include a suspension.
The only real people that matter are the Umps... and MLB. They are the jury and adjudicator of the offense... and you don't seem to have a rebuttal for them.

I don't think it was intentional, but certainly understand the argument it was and don't think it's clear either way really.
Jeter said it. They agreed with a smirk and all 3 knew it. Ortiz' comments that it woke up the Astros affirms the sentiment. We all know that like a fight in hockey, plunking an opposing batter who just hit a HR that you aren't planning to pitch to, will get your team fired up.
Was Alvarez brushed back? A couple times. That's part of the game. But, like I said, the problem I have is a 99mph 4seamer to the upper body is head hunting and crosses the unspoken line.

The same one that seemed to hit pop up after pop up on the first pitch trying to do too much when what we needed was a situational approach. That one. Or do you not remember that guy?
Edit to add don't think I'm trying to say that either one of these guys are crap. My point is they both seemed to start trying to do too much and we're similar type hitters (top of lineup, get on base but also had pop). He just needs to level his bat and hit line drives.

Not sure why anybody would have an issue with Grossman starting tonight. He faced Framber twice and didn't even come out to LF for the bottom of the 3rd in game 2.

Semien at lead off. I knew he wasn't going to be moved but still a head scratcher with how he's performed this postseason. I guess we are just crossing our fingers he won't be an automatic out. Even if he gets a hit it's usually with no one on base.
Rangers can 100% win this one a force a game 7. We couldn't ask for a better matchup and place to play the game.
Sometimes moving a guy to lead off spot changes their mindset. He automatically starts taking pitches and working the count.
No matter where they bat, I would have a mandatory take sign for Semien and Seager. Make them see a good pitch before they can swing. Worst case scenario, you are down in count 0-1 and have seen a good pitch.

I hope that's the case. Still would like to see someone like Leody in the lead off spot. Semien hasn't been getting it done.

Rangers ARE 100% forcing a game 7 tonight. Gonna jump on fatty framber early, eovaldi will give them 6+ innings, and give scherzer his shot for some redemption tomorrow to send the Rangers to their 3rd world series.
