I think almost none. His wrist injury really set him back. I think best case scenario for Evan this year is get back to what he was doing pre-injury and let him finish the year in RR.

Jonah is going to get screwed unless he beats Rutchsman out in the vote. Perez will be the Royals mandatory rep on the team either way.

That's who Bochy reminds me of. He kinda sounds like him too.

Cease and Bieber would probably be my two biggest rental wants at the deadline. Would obviously want to work on an extension immediately but I think Cease would thrive with the Rangers. He has nasty stuff.

Hell, it was just last year that he had a 2.2 era for the season. No way he's done.

Cease's issue this year appears to be when he does get hit, he gets hit super hard. Some reasons for this appear to be that he's throwing his slider slightly less, and his fastball and curveball slightly more. Which could also be a reason his fastball is just a tick less than it was last year when it was elite.

On the other hand, I'm completely out on Shane Bieber. His Baseball Savant page is SCARY.

Anyone notice how quickly Lowe's top hand is flying off the bat with each swing recently? Seems like that happens frequently when he isn't hitting as much.

He looks very impatient tonight to me. He's called Jonah off a lot and a few times has started his delivery way before Jonah could get set. Not sure who that's on but they look a little off.
