Well the first game of the heralded clash of the titans was awful. That game was like a huge heap of donkey **** left out all day in the 110 degree summer sun.

I'll be glad to get 1/3 and move on at this point. The lineup has looked pretty bad for the last 5 or 6 days. Seeing a lot of guys striking out by refusing to take walks or swinging at crap OUTSIDE of the strike zone being overly aggressive.

Thank god Leody was in the lineup today.

Could be worse. I'd rather be us than the Astros tonight.

What happened to us : rays shuffled their rotation to make sure we got Glasnow and mcclanhan. Team looked overly rested and out of a rhythm. Team committed several bad errors which lead to the Rays punishing our #5 starter. We threw Howard to see what he could do and he looks like total garbage.

On offense the team just looks to be in a slump. Last few games we have been getting ourselves out by swinging at pitches out of the strike zone while we have 2 strikes.

What happened to Astros : Javier had worst start of the season against the worst offense in mlb. Astros used their whole bullpen. Game goes 14 innings in Cleveland and they still lose. Several blown leads and melt downs. Fans are calling for dusty to be fired and Maldonado to be sent to the sun.

I can veer wide of a pile a shizzz… lets go Rangers!!!!!

It would be awesome for Jung to win ROY even without the extra pick.

I saw a webcast (maybe one of the Eric Nadel clips I saw) where it was mentioned that Bochy told Jung that he was going to be his #5 hitter and that Bochy expected him to have some ups and downs but that he was committing to him the #5 spot.

Those are the type of communications I think that get Bochy credibility and "buy-in" with his players. It is why early in the season, when Seager went down, that Bochy kept the lineup and just filled-in for #2.

And Jung has responded.

It's not going to be close in the NL. Corbin Carrol has that thing locked up. It's between Jung and Yoshida in the AL, but I think it will be pretty tight race the rest of the year.

I live in Phoenix and it's so much fun to watch him almost every day. Added 2 more HRs, one of which was a grand slam, yesterday.

My wife and I went to his first game he was called up last season and you could feel the buzz/excitement for him and the future of the team. They are an exciting team with Gurriel and a bunch of other young fast guys.

At this point in the season it'd be highway robbery if anyone but Jung won the AL Roy. His war is over 2x that of Yoshida's.

You are probably right, but Elly De La Cruz is electric and has a lot of hype

He is really great and electric, but I also think Corbin Carrol is that dude, and he's on a first place team currently. I could see a Corbin Carrol/De La Cruz, first and second finish in NL ROY voting. Could be one of the best duo of guys we've ever seen.

Jung was AL Rookie of the Month for both April and May. Much work to do if he wants June, but certainly compelling so far.
