Mlady's value is supposedly in his ability to call games, right? Because its not in his bat. Its not in his defense. If its not in calling games and making pitchers better where is the value of having him around. Korey Lee (who seems pretty bad) would have been far more valuable to have on the team this year, and would have robbed our dumb ass manager of the ability to play a catcher who isnt MLB quality 80% of the time.texasaggie2015 said:I don't think that has anything to do with Maldonado. It has more to do with guys like Javier pitching more innings than they ever have in their life and Framber just not having it. Plus injuries to LMJ and GarciaRagnar Danneskjoldd said:Does Maldy have incriminating pictures of crane or something? Every pitcher that threw to him got worse. Anyone involved in pitching coaches probably needs to be gone honestly, complete regression across the whole staff.Quote:
The Astros have discussed a role on the staff with Maldonado.
The blame on Maldonado is a bit of a reach IMO. And trust me.. I'm just as tired of him as everyone else.
At his best, maldy was a sub par player.
