I'm guessing Brantley will retire. Shoulder doesn't seem to be holding up to me
If they were the better team they'd have won the division they owned pretty much the whole season. Instead of choking it away. They kicked us in the dicks this week but let's not pretend they're the '27 SkankeesAggiEE said:SeanDaAg2005 said:
They were the better team. Will be interested to see what Dana does and who our new manager will be. I still think the window is open but next year might be the last year so maybe we get spendy knowing that
They aren't the better team.
They just had a better manager.
What kind of idiot manager doesn't consistently play his best players? Oh right, Dusty Baker
At least Dusty will get his participation award this year, maybe some post-game orange slices and Hi-C punch after he takes out that stupid toothpick
Pretty funny, though.bearkatag15 said:
This isn't it
No need to worry, they're not winning the World Series. Astros will still have 2 championships to their 0 championships when it's all over.wangus12 said:
**** my life its going to be a miserable 6 months in DFW. Its like the sips winning in 2011 and claiming an eternal scoreboard moment. I think we'll be okay next year, but there has been some major regression this year. Feels like the window is starting to shut unless some major moves and a good manager are brought in.
I'm dreading going to work tomorrow

I do t know where the optimism for next year comes.
Our pitching kinda sucks.
We're team Yordan. That's it.
Garcia won't be back anytime soon, I don't think.TxAg05 said:
Need LMJ and Garcia to come back right to give us a boost next year.
Brantley showed flashed but don't think you can trust him next year. I would let him walk.
That's your fault for living in that ****holewangus12 said:

Astros manager Dusty Baker: “It’s not easy to accept or say, but we got beat.”
— Danielle Lerner (@danielle_lerner) October 24, 2023
Asked why they continued to pitch to Adolis García, Baker said “You got to pitch to him at some point in time. That’s baseball. He was hot. He’s been hot the whole series. He got us.”
im not dreading work, the amount of people that never said a word about baseball for the past 3 years I have lived and worked in Fort Worth are now "die hard" ranger fans. They all are lumped but make no mistake, if they lose the series, it will be like none of this ever happened. Especially if the cowboys make the playoffs hahawangus12 said:

With the Astros losing, baseball ended for most of the country tonight. People couldn't care less about these remaining teams. The Evil Empire draws the viewers.
They hit like they did the last 2 nights and I can easily see them finally winning oneBioish said:No need to worry, they're not winning the World Series. Astros will still have 2 championships to their 0 championships when it's all over.wangus12 said:
