My question to the national media continues to be: If everyone everywhere hates the Astros, why do they keep getting so many All-Star votes?
But the point isn't that Passan believes he's probably innocent but it doesn't matter. The point is he's probably innocent but it won't matter to anyone outside of Houston. I think he's right on that.
Ultimately, Passan wanted to write an article on Altuve with the intent of trying to please two groups of people. Kind of a white noise article.
