Do we know if we're wearing the obese Framber specials or the road orange jerseys?

The Orange jerseys aren't a road uniform. They're worn at both just depends if it's white or grey pants

They'll probably wear Frambers blues today and if there is a game 7 (hopefully not), they'll wear the orange. CJ usually seems to pitch better in the orange jersey.
I would tell Framber "Look, your last few starts wearing your favorite jersey haven't ended well, let's flip the script and wear our lucky orange jerseys."

We went down 0-2. I'm pretty sure the pressure has been on us the past three games, so what does it matter?
It's silly to speculate on amount of pressure but it's pretty easy:

Game 1 - Pressure on Texas to steal a game
Game 2 - Pressure on Houston to not go down 0-2
Game 3 - Pressure on Houston to not go down 0-3 and be 1 loss away from elimination
Game 4 - Pressure on Texas to go up 3-1 and not let Houston tie up the series and gain momentum
Game 5 - Pressure on Texas big time to not get swept at home and one loss away from elimination
Game 6 - Pressure on Texas to not get knocked out
Game 7 - Pressure on Houston to not repeat the 2019 World Series

I don't even know why the Astros and Rangers even bothered to build retractable roof stadiums.
Astros it was simple...to have real grass the way the game was meant to be played. For the rangerettes, I have no earthly idea.

Amen to that. That said, Jose drove back to Houston from Arlington?!?

It's probably different with the team charter but it's quicker to drive between Houston and Dallas than flying because you don't have to deal with airports.

I kinda hope he hit him on purpose, because if he didn't this is a horrible injustice.

If he did hit Adolis on purpose, then that was the Astros throwing in the towel, which would be so insanely uncharacteristic of any Astros team in the last 9 seasons. They never quit.

It is like have a moon roof for your car. Great idea, probably never use it and after 5 years you are worried that if you open it you may never be able to close it again.

Yall do realize the roof at MMP is open like 90% of the time right? Just not during games. But it's how they keep grass….

The media hates it that Altuve keeps doing what he does… they can't help there self from saying something about him but it always includes a jab at him

I still think there's a good chance the left-leaning Giants will hire Nakken. Having the first female mgr is a nice kudo for a club

Probably because he and Ben Verlander have this very weird hate for eachother that's borderline obsessive. He'll always be against the Astros for that

So, I don't think I it's that insane of an article. It's ultimately the truth - the dichotomy is what Passan says - no matter what clearing evidence comes to light, everyone outside of Houston will never believe it when it comes to Altuve, and everyone in Houston will always love him. It's a good article in that it shows he is mentally tough, rises to the occasion, and he's the ultimate teammate.

The purpose of the article is to let the reader decide what they want to think about him.

Gigantic difference between a 2 run deficit and a 3 or more run deficit. There is no way we would intentionally put a guy in scoring position with nobody out where the expected runs in that situation (men on first and second and nobody out) is 1.5. That means we would "likely" go down at least 3 runs in that situation, possibly more.

It would be galactically stupid to do that in the 8th inning of an ALCS series tied 2-2. The fact that MLB can't see it goes to how much inherent bias there is against the Astros.

F*** THEM ALL!!!

So here are your outcomes for today

1. They lose and you can never fly during an Astros game again. The committee will meet to determine if that is flying anywhere or specifically to Europe during games.

2. They win....well t & p for your wallet.

You do realize we won the game right? Kind of ridiculous to say if he was hit on purpose it was quitting when we didn't quit. The outcome was a win whether it was intentional or not.

Maybe I just don't understand what you mean

We still have people on this board who "played competitively" saying it was worth almost guaranteeing losing the swing game in the ALCS to light a fire in the team.

I'm reading it as the argument for hitting him on purpose would be that the Astros were giving up the game which is something they would never do. So no way it was on purpose. Anyone with even minimal critical thinking skills knows that it is incredibly not likely it was done intentionally.

No doubt driving is faster than flying. I just figured they'd have a team chartered bus for the trip.

I imagined that his wife and kids drove up for the games and so he figured he'd ride home with them. We can go positive and say so he could spend some time with his family that he hasn't seen in a few days; or we could go negative and say that he didn't want to hear it from his wife that he could fly the charter home but she had to drive all the way home from Arlington by herself.

Here's what happened, he was going to come up and in to send a message for the atbat. He didn't want to hit him but he wasn't afraid of hitting him either… then it got away.

If rangers fans have a problem with that they need to examine the statue they have outside their building

Today, unfortunately, many Americans have good reason to fear that they will be victimized if they are unable to protect themselves. And today, no less than in 1791, the Second Amendment guarantees their right to do so. - Justice Samuel Alito 2022

He has said he was intentionally trying to throw the pitch up and in. That's part of a logical pitch sequence. He had just walked a guy unintentionally, so why is it hard to believe an attempted pitch up and in got away from him about a foot away to the arm side? When someone is throwing at a hitter, it's usually right behind the front shoulder, so that they back into the pitch. Total BS on the suspension. Manfred is an arrogant ass who covered for the blueblood franchises by burying the Astros. Screw him.
