Main goal should be to work counts and get him out of the game.

Demanding perfection for Verlander with little run support while you let their ace off with low pitch count innings is t really the approach I'd like to see

They just refuse to work the count, even when aggression is not working. I will never understand why they cannot adjust the game plan. It's insanity.
I love Texas Aggie sports, but I love Texas A&M more.

Jose will be a hall of famer but he's never gonna be a coach. He's so unorthodox it's incredible. I knew he was bunting as soon as I saw him looking at 3b.

Problem is he has never been an even average bunter. He is not good at that skill.

He glanced down at the 3rd baseman about 5-6 times right before that pitch. He just did execute the bunt.

I hate that because you're limiting yourself. Best case he bunts for a hit and drives in a run. If you swing away you have a chance to leave the yard or clear the bases.

Maybe, but he doesn't make Montgomery pitch to him with the hunt. He helps Montgomery out.

Even at 5 at-bats we only managed to make him use 10 pitches that inning
