A .370 xBA might seem like a good chance to be a hit, but it's still 63% chance you're out. I don't know how to calculate expected number of hits for those numbers, but I bet it's only two or three.


The team has a .356 xBA on 14 AB. That would mean 5 hits.



Thanks. It still doesn't seem that remarkable. It's not like we're expected to have a dozen hits.
Do you think any team gets 12 hits thru 4 innings?
