Sure, but lots saying the 'Stros should intentionally walk the guy. That situation didn't call for it, but I'm just saying you don't intentionally walk a guy for having a good game. He's not INT at this point in his career.

What's crazy is that given the way both teams hit the ball tonight, that should have been a 10-run victory, but it wasn't. I can't remember a game with three 400+ outs, plus several other warning track outs.

At some point, the luck has to swing in our favor. We had to outhit the bad luck tonight.

I don't think they had much of a choice. It was always going to be trouble for them after Montgomery and Eovaldi - especially compared to the Stros pitching depth, and the odds of them sweeping us were not high. This got him some work in for a potential game 6 or 7, and I think they were just hoping the future Hall of Famer would come up big in the spotlight.

That said like most of us, I was happy when I heard he was getting the nod for this game.
