Considering Maldy was destined to start, tonight's lineup isn't bad. Chas or Dubon seems like a toss up at this point, and Chas' terrible approach lately makes me lean towards Dubon.

And of course Yordan gets bumped down so when Bregs hits into a DP and we go 3 up 3 down in the first they've set the tone and he leads off with bases empty.

If that doesn't sum this season perfectly I don't know what does.

What good is Yordan batting in the first inning if they just pitch around him with two outs? If they are going to pitch around him, I'd rather have a lead off walk in the second than a two out walk in the first.

I really hate that the lineup tinkering has continued into the playoffs. Tucker may not be hitting but he's one of the two best hitters on the team. He will most likely get one less at bat than he normally would get now.

Hey I have equally as much faith in Weak Pop Up Bregman as I do in GIDP Bregman.

And I know Diaz has been trying to shake the rust off but we all know even if he hit a double or homer the last game and we ended up winning the game we all know he would still be riding the pine.

I wish he had for obvious reasons but it would certainly show how little influence the FO/Dana have on the lineup. I'm starting to think they don't have much say and no way they have final say.

Staff - I appreciate you taking the time to answer the questions. You have a difficult and thankless job, so I do want to tell you that it's appreciated.

This thread has been a lot of fun, especially when the football centric boards are a depressing disaster, as is the politics board pre-WW3. This thread is pretty much all I'm reading on TexAgs right now.

Although Chas did not come through in a couple of key spots, he still has gotten some hits, Dubon has not been any better, and Chas is definitely the better hitter and, therefore, more likely to produce. With that said, let's hope Dubon delivers.
