Game is still in reach. Score some runs.
It was a good AB overall, minus obvious bad outcome because of the bad swing on the offspeed away for strike 3. It happens, even to vets.Prosperdick said:He screwed us but Dusty screwed him by not playing him and like he's said he hits better when he plays in the field. That was the most pathetic display of baseball I have ever seen
Not even competitive at bats…2 garbage strikeouts and a wimper grounder
Holy crap this team is infuriating in this acursed gdamn ballpark
He's also a rookie and it's tougher for those guys to get back in a groove. Maybe he will redeem himself later in the game.

Game and series are still totally winnable. Fortunately the guys in the dugout are made of sterner stuff than the pansies on this thread.
It's not winnable if they don't stop playing bad baseball.

Can we please get our pictures back? Everyone was much more friendly in the in the before time.
In the post season, we have 5 HRs out of 14 hits with runners on. We are 5th in hits with runners on, but 1st in HR with runners on. We need to stop trying to hit a HR anytime somebody is on base.kb2001 said:No we're not, we're top 5 in the AL batting with RISP. Just didn't get it done right there. Situational hitting will be our downfall. We are a "homer or nothing" team with men on base.

Framber wins LVP of course but is Tucker ahead of Maldy for second place?

You're missing my point. Saying that they need to stop playing bad baseball to win is like a manager of a store saying they need to start selling merchandise to make money.TarponChaser said:The Porkchop Express said:Thanks for that fascinating analysis.TarponChaser said:The Porkchop Express said:

Errors on routine double play balls. Base running mistakes. Poor ABs. Starting pitcher bathing in gasoline before lighting up a smoke.
Are these enough examples of bad baseball?
