He's an ace for sure. Their best pitcher

Twins manager making adjustments based on what's happening during the game while Dusty just sits there letting Maldy bat in a critical spot down 5 ... smfh

At this point I don't know what to expect from Diaz because he has had so few ABs the last 3 weeks

Yall are blind. I want Diaz in just as much as anyone here. But we had a runner on second with one out and the top of our lineup up. Maldy didn't do his job. But he absolutely didn't kill a rally. If our big guys are "hitting" like they are so far, it doesn't matter who's catching.
More than one thing can be true at the same time. Dusty shat the bed on this one regardless of what did or didn't happen next.

It is still possible for us to win in spite of his managing... but we are being severely handicapped by it.

Again, all things that pitchers have done against this lineup all season at MMP. Does he have good stuff? Of course. It's the ALDS… every starter has legit stuff at this stage

Yes, he is dotting everything, including the secondary pitches. Hitters can't sit on anything or they are behind 0-1 almost every at bat

If I'm the twins, I'd pull Lopez at 88 pitches.

If he's able to go in a game 5 that would be huge for them

Just an absolute **** approach from Abreu. You have to have a 4-6 pitch AB so that we try bc and get him out. Pop up first pitch and now he's coming back for the 7th
