Close with good crowds but still missing something. Even the Padres blowing the Mets out last year had more atmosphere and fireworks. Best series this time around was probably Arizona-Milwaukee imo

Yep. That one was great, Padres-Mets was entertaining in its own way with a lot of homers, Mariners-Jays was incredible and ridiculous, and Guardians-Rays literally ended on a walkoff.

Very few lead changes or big moments in any of these snoozers except the DBacks coming back twice, both times in the mid innings rather than late.

And now we get no baseball for two full days.

The crowd in Milwaukee was flat IMO even when thy jumped out to early leads.

The Mets last season at least took a game from the Friars.

Those last two starts did look really, really good. Looked more like the CJ of '22. If this is true, what a huge boost to the starting rotation that would be.
