I also like the announcement that TK, Blum, and Julia will be doing postgame coverage after the playoff games. That's something that's been lacking with the network.

Now go back and do the Ws we got that maybe we shouldn't have. We swept the Braves in Atlanta. Took 2 of 3 or swept Rays that same week. It's 162 games, and we got hit big time by injuries and lost 12 games on schedule vs Angels and As. Be happy we are in postseason...this is our time now! We are the most experienced team by far on the AL side. Get to the series and see what happens. Maybe its our year to be the big underdog and take down the Dodgers/Braves

I basically posed this scenario a few days back. "Do you throw JV in the last game of it means we have a shot to win the division" most said, yes. I think Javier is the play. The bye is way too meaningful to not go for it.

In every other year, the obvious answer is win the division...but with a 50-30 road record so far....not sure this team might be better having to fight on the road

One less round to play and a week off so division.

But you would presumably start Javier then, who would then be unavailable to start in wildcard round if he starts tomorrow

the Rays-Blue Jays game tomorrow will be interesting

Gausman was supposed to start for Toronto...but he won't now.

which means the Rays know...Gausman would start against them in game 1 of the wildcard series

so Tampa wants to win tomorrow to push the Jays down to the 6-seed
