Personally because I don't think it is dieing. I've heard numerous reports that cord cutting has slowed tremendously and some are going back because there is just too much streaming and it's too expensive

CC can slow but not a single linear broadcaster has grown in a number of years. They are all losing share to streaming. Most millenials and basically all gen z will never have a traditional linear service...

Because the Padres got only 80% of their rights fee which was largely subsidized by MLB. Next year if they continue that path they will only get actual subscriber revenue which will be tiny vs cable/satellite. MLB taking over for SD was an emergency situation. Other MLB teams will be in the same situation soon and they are all scrambling to stay on a regional network.

Rangers are doing it with smoke and mirrors. They literally have no pitchers. No starters. No relievers. They are all either on the IL or just plain suck.
