That’s not what the press release says. The Chron article said there are no IMMEDIATE plans but also had this quote:

Unfortunately, the math is already upside down for regional sports networks. Offering alacarte streaming makes the financials much worse. When Bally finally collapses and MLB takes back the rights they may be able to find a better balance. But eve now with cable and satellite subscribers down by nearly 50% over the last 10 years, those 2 platforms still deliver significantly more revenue than alacarte streaming. Encouraging further unbundling via reasonably priced streaming will erode the team rights value even more. Current model is unsustainable and the new (alacarte streaming) model will generate less $$$ for leagues and teams. It will take 50+ year old generation to die off (largest demography c to watch local sports) and be replaced by 50+ people who grew up with streaming for the model to stabilize. No easy path

Now I have to wait 4 hours until first pitch….

I'll be in Aggieland this evening, anyone know what radio station will (if) be carrying tonight's Astros game? At night the Houston AM stations don't tune in well in BCS unfortunately.

Unfortunately I won't be able to stream, I'll have to actually tune in to an over-the-airwaves radio station.

Also, I believe MLB blacks out radio broadcasts on the internet to force people to subscribe to their MLB radio plan.

I tried KZNE 1150 last night, but they had high school football on.

Chas at least it batting 6th but Maldy is such a liability and I foresee a close game, JV gets pulled in the 6th or 7th and the 9th spot comes up in the order and Maldy waddles out there after first looking over at Donkey, who is half asleep.
