This. I was to the point where I've already conceded the division. Seattle winning just puts more pressure on us.

I got you. I'm not incapable of understanding that basic concept. It is understood we don't control the outcome. But having a interest in the outcome is completely different. Math wise that wasn't in our favor.

we don't want the Astros-Diamondbacks series to become a playoff death match...all the way to Sunday

but it might be for both teams

No one on here thinks this is objectively a good thing for us. However, many (if not most) understand that whatever our reaction here on an internet message board has exactly zero impact on what the ultimate outcome will be and will enjoy yet another Chapman implosion and the rangers being forced to squirm for one more night. It's what we do here.
