Dusty is trying to preserve the bullpen for the offseason? He is either going to look brilliant or making sure this is his last year managing.
We're 2-8 against Seattle and I doubt the outcome of this game has any bearing on all the reasons that's the case.
They'll get the satisfaction of finishing this zombie roster off at home before the Rangers would in any playoff scenario.

I'm just saying if we do manage a comeback today, you could still get in by finishing 3-3 over the final 6. Just have to root for the rangers to keep beating the mariners

Yep…horrid manager who has benefited from having some amazingly talented rosters and yet could never win when it mattered until he had a pitching staff that basically negated his suckage

Wouldn't be shocked and it wouldn't be out of character for him. I'm 100% convinced that Peña had been playing hurt since some time in May and that's resulted in the total lack of power.
