Ronald Acuna Jr: 39 HR, 69 SB
  • He's about to create the 40-70 club. WOW!

Bobby Witt Jr: 29 HR, 38 HR.
  • Just needs 1 more HR. Looking like 30-40. Is he the best SS in baseball not named Seager?
Julio Rodriguez: 31 HR, 36 SB.
  • What a crazy second half he's had. (18-14 in the last 58 games)

Francisco Lindor: 26 HR, 30 SB.
  • Sneaky good season. Needs to get hot at the plate.

Trea Turner: 26 HR, 28 SB.
  • Failed to live up to the mega-deal in year 1, but getting closer with a good second half. Probably going to fall short.

Kyle Tucker: 28 HR, 28 SB
  • Going to come down to the wire. Only 2 HR/SB in Sept. Gunna have to get hot again.

Bobby Witt Jr is sure to get it, probably average a dinger a game against the 'Stros this weekend.

I think King Tuck gets the HR part of the 30. The SB part seems to be the easiest to obtain but with every game down the stretch being so meaningful I don't think he will run just to get the record like he might if things were wrapped up.

If he played in today's modern stadiums using modern bats, I am convinced Cesar Cedeno would be 40-80. He was 20-50 three times in the early 70s in the old dome.

CC was a freak and way ahead of his time.

It's crazy to me that the media is still trying to make it any sort of race between him and Betts for NL MVP. Betts has had a great season, but Acuna is just on an entirely different level this year. I hate that the Braves extended him for so cheap.

In my opinion yes that's where we always sit when I take my kids
I agree. The Honda Club level has less foot traffic and cleaner bathrooms for the little ones to use.

If they are really into baseball, the closer to the field the better. Views and concessions are secondary to how close the players are to you at that age.

I'll bet Mays would have been a regular member of the 40-70 club if he needed to be. He led the league in stolen bases four times, but never had more than 40 in a season. I guess that having McCovey and Cepeda batting after him took a lot of the incentive for him to steal away.

For the last month or so, I've been anticipating the "now we turn it on" moment. Lots of teases in the meantime.

Now we have no choice. Time to turn it on or we go home. Bets against the Astros haven't paid out very well the last 6 years and, as much as we've been playing with fire, I don't think they will this year either.

The AL still goes through Houston.

If we see good Framber… I'll feel very confident moving forward. This is a huge start for him.

The starter for KC is the guy we scored a lot on against last week. So hopefully that continues

So I watched the texags morning show and they had the SEC Shorts guys on it and the main guy, can't remember his name but he's the "famous" one grew up in Houston and loved the Astros until his family moved to Alabama at the age of 12. He said at one point he could tell you all of Gerald Young's stats.

All that to say, we've come a LOOOOOOOG way baby!
