They have some pieces, particularly the WR Nico Collins. Mostly it was just a chance to spend 5 hours with my brother.


I actually think 2024 will be a good year for them. I was mainly just joking about how bad 2020-2022 were. I'm going to catch a game in December I think. Stroud hopefully will be really good. He's shown flashes

In a normal season with 600 plate appearances Yordan would have 128 RBI and 38 HR's at his pace

wonder if the Astros will go to a 4-man rotation

with Thursdays off they have the option

as of now....neither JV nor Framber will pitch in Seattle

however JV is scheduled to get 3 starts in these final 12 games

One other wrinkle I hadn't thought about. Baltimore doesn't have a day off the last two weeks. That could change their BP usage, if we can get some early runs across against their starters. (And I misread the schedule huzzah, they have next Monday off...the rays must have three off days...)

Nah everyone plays. Urquidy's mom called to complain so we will be going with a 6 man rotation. Bregman is on snack duty for the next game and Yordan is requesting blue Gatorade instead of the red.

Interesting....Baltimore is throwing lefty John Means tomorrow, making his second start returning from Tommy John surgery. He pitched five innings, 3 ER against STL last week. Didn't expect to see a LHSP in this series, hopefully we can get off to a good start. It also makes the next two games murky as to who's starting.
I would guess that Means is taking Flaherty's spot, as he hasn't been performing that well since his acquisition.
Probably some set of Gibson/Bradish on Tues/Wed.

He's not intentionally losing but he's a stubborn ass who wants to prove that Maldy should play almost all the time and that Chas should bat 8th because he's not a gym rat or some stupid s***.
