And to top off this kick in the nads night Denny Hamlin just won at Bristol.

Things are tracking really well to take a tiny lead, if any, into Seattle to play the team that has absolutely daddied these dudes all year.

And the Blue Jays and their tiebreaker over the Astros will be right there, only 1 GB after tonight if this result holds.

Why not dig in and make him reroute instead of setting up in foul ground and giving him a free path to bag.

We don't need to be up to use him. Holding a team to a reachable margin or being tied is also important. Especially given the circumstances with the division

Also it's not really a complaint about this game in particular… just that every other pitcher this month has been not so dependable (besides Neris). Frustrating that our best arms are getting used less than guys like Maton

More of a complaint that we have not been playing well enough for Abreu to come in. Not a complaint about Dusty not using him
