This isn't "figure it out at the ML level" time. That's stupid. They should be adding an arm that they know can pitch. Bielak may not be great but he knows what he's doing.

General thoughts:
  • Near the top except in high lev & at home. Checks out since we lead in runs, BA, OBP, SLG, & OPS.
  • Toronto's offense has kind of sucked
  • As a whole, these 7 teams have been better offensively on the road (slightly)
  • Maldy & Abreu are absolute boat anchors vs RHP
  • BAL & TBR have some serious luck going on with the high BABIP yet low LD, high GB & IFFB.
  • SEA batted ball split is nice!
  • I want to do the same kind of review for Pitching but I am worried how we will fair.

For the season
  • Yordan, Chas, & TED have played above an MVP level (230-348)
  • Doobie, Breggy, & Altuve have been very good (139-150)
  • Julks & Meyers have not been good (85-86)
  • Pena, Diaz, Abreu have been terrible (1-22)
  • Maldy is -79. I don't think I have ever seen it that low... ever. .045 BA, .045 OBP, .091 SLG, .136 OPS.

edit: Connor Wong is also -79 & Edmundo Sosa is -85. Talk about unclutch.

edit2: Yordan leads the league, Chas is 3rd, & TED is 9th.

Yeah, Pena has an uncanny ability to not get the runner home from 3rd with less that 2 outs. They showed his avg a month or two ago and it was abysmal and don't think it has improved.

My seats earlier this year against the Rockies $65 & $35 respectively. Not quite as good as yours, but still way cheaper than in Houston. The plus side to the local team sucking.
