My takeaways tonight. We answered after being down (losing streak, not literally trailing) like we always do. Hunter Brown had a hell of a start. Yainer Diaz is that dude behind the plate.

Pressly is not a great closer, I would put him at slightly less than average. There are some people who have a problem with that but I'm not sure why
Because he's been a very good closer. People tend to remember the bad more than the good. He's been very solid. Less than average is a wild statement honestly.
I'll give you that this year hasn't been his best by any means. But for the vast majority of his Astros tenure, he's been fantastic.

I am NOT happy with him right now. 38 years and I've still never seen a no hitter in person.

I think some of you short-memoried emoters forget that he's given up only 1 earned run in in his last 22 postseason appearances dating back to the 2020 ALDS. That's not just excellent - that's legendary.
