Watching this SD team hit you really have to ask what's going on inside that clubhouse. Because they are not 8 games under .500 level bad.

Altuve's hit in the last inning was #2,023 of his career. He's now tied for 279th all-time with Tony Phillips, doing so in 6 fewer seasons and almost 2,000 fewer plate appearances.

He's 7th on the active list but is only 66 hits away from 3rd right now, and a bunch of the guys ahead of him are on their last legs.

Hopefully, Jose (33) is a long way from retirement, but I love having B-R.com to watch him climb those all-time ranks. He's also 177th in steals at 292, just 8 away from 300.

Boston and Baltimore in a crazy finish. Baltimore up 13-12 with 2 out in the bottom of the ninth. Sox have tying run on 3B. Boston has got 23 hits in the game but is currently losing.
