Watching Martin Maldonado swing at balls while batting .170 makes me question the validity of baseball as a sport.

Another awful AB from Maldy
Maldy is amazing at swinging at balls and striking out instead of walking
Sparky just gave the 5 hit in a game stat.
Since Altuve entered the league only 4 players in MLB have done it. Peña and Springer are 2.
It's just that hard to do. 4 players in 13 years.

It's really gonna suck when Diaz starts riding the bench cause Uncle Mike is occupying the DH spot, and Moldy is starting regularly still

Reading between the lines from earlier posts, it sounds like he refused to play him when Chaz wasn't taking the game seriously. Another option is to play Diaz at first base when Brantley plays, but I don't see Dusty doing that
