Sub-par pitching, horrible batting average. We lit them up and their best batting average is .280 and it gets ugly from there.
They mash the ball when they do hit it (either Ks or hard hit balls). That homerun yesterday was Sammy Sosa esque and it was from like a .220 hitter.
Our pitchers do a horrible job holding Seattle runners. Diaz never had a chance yesterday.
They played really sound defense to our subpar defense.
Sorry gotta poke fun at this Mariners sub-par pitching comment one last time as just in the last week the Mariners are now leading the league in team ERA
They also have 3 starters in the top 5 in WHIP and Bryce Miller has the numbers (1.05) but not the innings to qualify
They are stupid good and a very very bad matchup for our swing first lineup since their one weak spot is a weaker pen
