edit: I should re-phrase this as "leaving guys on base." The alternative could mean you're not getting on base, which is worse.

The other two oddly came within 2 months of each other in 1976.
May 30, 1976 - Astros 16, Braves 5. Cliff Johnson was 4-for-6, Jerry DeVanon, whose son I went to high school with, was 3 for 6 with 5 RBi - no home runs at all in that one. Braves' starter Roger Moret gave up 5 earned runs in 2/3 of an inning. The Braves had 14 hits - so 39 total.
July 2, 1976 - Astros get 25 hits in a 14 inning game, but only score 10 runs in a weird 10-8 win over Cincinnati. Reds had 14 hits so again, 39 total. Greg Gross is 4 for 7, Cedeno is 4-7, and Enos Cabell is 4 for 7.
Game was 3-1 Reds after 1 inning. 4-1 Red after 6.
Astros tied it in the 7th on a 2-run double by Cheo.
Astros score 3 in the top of the 11th to go up 7-4, Reds tie it with 3 in the bottom of the 11th.
Cedeno hits a 2 run jack and DeVanon has an RBI single in the top of the 14th to go up 10-7
.Reds load the bases in the bottom of the 14th and Morgan gets a bases-loaded walk to make it 10-8 before whoever Gene Pentz is strikes out George Foster during his first monster season to end the game.
