He's going to end up with a 3ish WAR. That'll put him in or near the top 10 in baseball for SS.

Disappointing after last year, but stupid to say he's a marginal AAA SS.
Pena is been pretty much the same this season as last year in the regular season. The only reason people are disappointed with him is because he got red hot in the playoffs... a 12ish game sample size.



Defensively seems far worse based off eyeball test than last regular season
I know this isn't anywhere close to the best defensive metric to use but his fielding percentage this year is .974 compared to last year was .963

He also has 12 years this year compared to 19 last year.

Incredibly surprising he seems to have taken a step backwards there. I was honestly surprised he won it last year

It was probably the correct call on Bregman. If it wasn't Dusty would've sprinted from the dugout and immediately commenced an animated discussion while kicking dirt on the dish blue.
