He went oppo last time he hit a single (@ Mia?). He was just very late on a massive swing. It was definitely not by design.

Hitting .167 but has an OPS of .722 as an Astro. He works the count and walks a lot. Bump that average even a little more and he's a problem

Nobody should be crapping on Singleton. He walks, hits the ball hard, and has good plate discipline.

He's the best option we have at 1B, and ideally he'd be in over Abreu. If Abreu is having "back issues", I'm not convinced they will be over in a matter of weeks....may be a permanent thing.

I don't think he should necessarily bat high in the order, but he'd be awesome at the 8 or 9 spot.

That's a really nice lineup with good lefty/righty diversity going on. Of course it'll never happen because Dusty/Maldy and his infatuation with zero logic.
