We lose this and we might be seeing an extended losing streak
The biggest issue right now is their schedule. They may end up with a 13+ game win streak.Beat40 said:
Now the Astros have to go on a run and hold off the Mariners.

Our BP has quietly been phenomenal. Our only blemishes recently have been forcing guys like Mushinski into the game.
Unless I'm missing something (I don't have the stats in front of me), we seem to be rounding into 2022 form. I think the IL stint for Maton will help him too.
But how? We lose a few too many games and we're out of the playoffs entirelytremble said:JDUB08AG said:

It really is a WS-caliber BP, particularly if Montero is really back. He had a 2.31 ERA in July and has a 1.13 ERA in August so far.
The front office really has to figure out how to get the SP arms at least some rest going into the final stretch because the pieces on the team are there to make a deep run in the post season.
