I think that's a bit of an overreaction. To me our window is likely through the 2026 season as long as we re-sign Altuve and Bregman.

But I do agree I have a not so good feeling about this season. I think we make it to the ALDS and then if Framber/Javier aren't back to normal it'll be a rough series against Baltimore

Framber is having a weird season. His numbers are great, but obviously worse than last year, but his peripherals all better?

His WHIP is .032 lower, his BB9 is down, his SO9 is up, but he's giving up almost double the number of HR/9 that he did last year. Less base runners, more strikeouts, but also more hard hits.

I believe league ERA is around 12% higher this year due to the changes with the pitch clock, and I would bet given Framber's mercurial nature, he's being impacted by the stress more than the normal pitcher

Amazing that Diaz can legitimately hit cleanup yet won't play for days at a time for....reasons.

I am annoyed by this season with the Mariners…but it feels like they have had incredibly good luck in terms of when they've caught the Astros. I feel like they've yet to see the Astros at anything approaching a full strength lineup and have had multiple Bielak/Blanco starts.
