You guys are just complaining to complain now. It makes this thread almost unreadable. What lineup would be better than what is presented? With Tuck out, you don't have a lot of options. Don't tell me Singleton, outside the one game he's been beyond terrible. Tough to say, but even Maldy has been better.

I would think if Singleton and Tuck both had covid, they would also be put on the health/safety IL and there'd be a big string of call-ups to take their place.

Singleton at 1B and Diaz at catcher. Singleton has walked a lot, had some homers, and had some pretty hard hit outs.

Maldy has not been better. Maldy strikes out, doesn't walk, plays terrible defense, and hardly ever hits for power.

This is nonsense. Singleton has been better than Dubon, Julks, Kess, & Maldy as an Astro this time around.

It is not necessarily the lineup for me, although I would prefer Singleton over Dubon, but this just shows Dusty's decision making process for his lineups is flawed (ie, based on gut and feel). He did not need to make a definitive statement about the lineup last night, but since he did, he should have real substantive reason for changing his mind.

You're missing the point, this organization created a dynasty on using analytics to create the best matchups and best opportunities to win.

We have a manager now who puts out a line up based on what side of the bed he woke up on. He even says what he is going to do and then just "whoops I changed my mind" it's crazy and contrary to what got us to where we are
