We got a pitcher a year after winning another Cy Young. Even though he is older, he is locked up for next year and likely the year after that. Plus, we aren't paying a fraction of what he is worth.

Good for Gilbert. I wish him well, but until he truly does something in the bigs, I don't really care.

Yet the East Coast media will continue to fellate the Mets.

Yeah, watching the replay and his answer in the locker room, I believe him. He was frustrated in the moment about not making the play and just zoned out/tossed it like he probably always does when the ball get swapped (he may have taunted them, but I think it was a stupid blackout/lost in the frustration moment and not something he would normally do). Seemed really remorseful afterwards when the emotions of the moment wore off, especially when he mentioned thinking back to his first hit.

Maybe you are seeing a different video than I am. I did not see much jawing and it looked like he was going to toss it back to the pitcher before doing it. Also tossing it 30 rows deep was not because of him being an ass, that is just what they all do now to get it over the net that is protecting the crowd.

We are approaching levels of "down bad" never before seen

It gets more aggressive when there is nothing else to do besides ***** about Dusty and Maldy, which means it super aggressive lately. We all have instagram or reddit or whatever to go look at hot chicks on demand so I also wonder why there has to be pages and pages of it on a baseball thread.

It is not that we are not fans of attractive females however some of the pics IMO sometimes go over the line.
