I'm guessing he's going off of "somebody who's been in the league for a good amount of time"

Cuz Tyler white only had 760 at bats, so less than a full season and a half

This is a bad look. If he's been hurt and hid it or wouldn't admit to it it's a very bad look.

This team would have been a lot better off if he had admitted this early and done the right thing.

It's not always that straightforward.

Many guys play through injuries if it's not seemingly that serious, and eventually it goes away. I guess it hasn't for Abreu. Probably should have taken more rest, but sometimes rest isn't the answer and he just needed time for it to recover.
