If your plan is maton, he does well coming in the beginning of an inning and is god awful coming in the middle of an inning with runners on

I don't disagree, but how does Brown, a young guy, get better the 3rd time thru the order if he doesn't try.

He should have been pulled after the first batter, but he's gotta be given the chance to learn in real game too.

Just so we have the #s

1st Time - .693
2nd Time - .704
3rd Time - .865

Very small sample but Brown has a 7.20 ERA / .964 OPS in the 7th inning this season.

He also has to gain experience and learn from it too. If he's not given the opportunity, he won't learn and get better.

Again, should have been batter to batter, but I'm ok, with the series in hand, giving him a shot.

On the broadcast today, TK said Diaz has the strongest arm of all catchers in the MLB @ 85.4mph (average throw to 2nd).

Add it to the list of things he's exceptionally better at than Maldonado

I can agree with this. But he already went thru half the lineup and then trouble started. Gotta make the move after the first well-hit ball. Not leave him out there to give up the HR and single.

That Bregman play was beautiful. He really loaded up and fired that throw. Feels like we don't see that arm strength all that often.
